Changes to ministerial portfolios in Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

The responsibility for unemployment security matters will be transferred to Minister of Social Security Sanni Grahn-Laasonen on 6 May when Matias Marttinen replaces Arto Satonen as the new Minister of Employment.

From now on, Minister Grahn-Laasonen will handle all matters covered by the Ministry’s Department for Insurance and Social Security, Department for Work and Gender Equality and Department for Safety, Security and Health. 

Until this change of ministers, the Minister of Employment was responsible for unemployment security matters covered by the Department for Insurance and Social Security of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s Government.
