Saara-Sofia Sirén is a Member of Parliament and the chairperson of the Grand Committee at the Parliament of Finland. She has previously worked as the chairperson of the Employment and Equality Committee.
Sirén has actively worked to advance gender equality in several NGOs. At the moment, she is the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Gender. Previously, she has been the president of the National Council of Women of Finland.
Sirén has a master's degree in economics as well as in philosophy.
Susana Malcorra is President and cofounder of GWL Voices for Change and Inclusion. She was the Dean of IE School of Global & Public Affairs in Spain. Ms. Malcorra served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina (2015-2017).
She was the Chef de Cabinet of the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon. Before holding these positions, she led the Department of Field Support (DFS) for Peace Missions, based in New York, as Under-Secretary General of the United Nations.In 2004, she joined the World Food Programme (WFP) in Rome, as Assistant Secretary General and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Ms. Malcorra started her professional development in IBM Argentina. She spent almost twenty-five years in the private sector. From January 1993 to 2002, she worked in Telecom Argentina, where she became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Silvia Modig is the president of the National Council of Women of Finland and a member of the Helsinki City Council. Previously she has worked as a Member of Parliament and Member of the European Parliament.
At the European Parliament, Modig worked largely on climate issues and social justice. She also actively defended the rights of LGBTIQ-people. She was, among other things, a sub-member of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality.
Before politics, Modig worked as a journalist.
Gary Barker, PhD, has been a global voice in engaging men and boys in advancing gender equality, gender justice and positive masculinities for three decades. He is the CEO and co-founder of Equimundo Center for Masculinities and Social Justice, a major contributor to international activism on male allyship in gender equality.
He was the first Executive Director of Instituto Promundo in Brazil and led its pioneering work on healthy masculinities. He is co-founder of MenCare, a global campaign in more than 50 countries to promote men’s involvement as caregivers, and co-founder of MenEngage, a global alliance of more than 700 NGOs. He co-created the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES), the largest survey of men’s attitudes and behaviors related to violence, fatherhood, and gender equality. He advises the UN, the World Bank, national governments, international foundations and corporations on strategies to engage men and boys in promoting gender equality.
Delphine O is Ambassador and Secretary General of the Generation Equality Forum at the French Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs since 2019. She led the organization of the Generation Equality Forum, the largest and most important international conference on gender equality and women’s rights since 1995, which took place in Paris in June 2021. The Forum raised $40 billion and 3000 commitments from Member States, international organizations, civil society, private sector and philanthropies, to accelerate gender equality in the next 5 years.
She teaches Feminist Foreign Policy and Gender equality in International Relations at the Parisc School of International Affairs (PSIA) of Sciences Po, France’s top public policy graduate school. In 2023, she authored « La diplomatie féministe est un sport de combat » (« Feminist foreign policy is a martial art »), published by Tallandier.
Previously, Delphine O was a member of the French Parliament for La Republique en Marche. In the National Assembly, she was a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the chairwoman of the France -Iran friendship group and the co-rapporteur of the mission on the
South China Sea.
Smarika, a young social sciences student, believes in using her knowledge to empower marginalised communities and create an equitable world. Her experience as a storyteller at Canopy Nepal enhances her ability to share captivating stories. She has been mentored by the British Council Nepal’s country director and other international leaders, providing her with a valuable network. Smarika has also worked as a podcast narrator for political literacy, an advocate in videos for the Blind Youth Association Nepal, and a freelance writer, translator, interpreter, and voice-over artist. Her project on legal awareness of child sexual abuse among children gives her practical experience in this area.
As a person with a disability- blind, she brings a unique perspective and accessibility ideas to the team, strengthening their pursuit of equity. She is Youth Advisory Council Member of Plan International Nepal and Youth Sounding Board member of European Union in Nepal. She has fluent English, critical and analytical skills and has represented Plan International Nepal in Global Youth Meet 2025 organized by Plan International in Germany.
