International Gender Equality Prize 2025 will be awarded for the fifth time in 2025

The event is open for public, please register here by 23 November. You can also follow the event remotely at Yle Areena (stream link TBA) at 1.30-3.30 pm (UTC+2). The event is held in English.

 

Finland will award the International Gender Equality Prize for the fifth time at an award ceremony in Tampere at the end of 2025. The prize is awarded to a person or an organisation that has made a significant international contribution to gender equality. In 2025, the prize amounts to €300 000. 

 

Nominations for the 2025 International Gender Equality Prize are now closed! The price will be awared in Tampere, Finland on the 8th of December 2025.
